Not much happened this week. There was a short work/school week because of Martin Luther King Day. The kids had their usual lessons and Glenn has been working 18 hour days because the Sundance Film Festival is in town. One exciting thing did happen though...Briar got 100% on her spelling test!!! I never doubted her but she was really nervous about the whole thing. She spelled 25 words correct and got a cute little certificate to put on the fridge.
For those of you that don't know Briar is in kindergarten this year. She loves it so much that she cried when I had to check her out of class 10 minutes early for an appointment! She is a super smart girl but her favorite things to do are reading, math, and of course spelling. Her favorite books to read are Junie B. Jones, the Rainbow Fairies series, and Tiara Club.
After school Briar takes a ballet dance class. She has her big recital coming up in May. This February she will be starting piano lessons with Grandma Nena!
